Fugue Press Online Gallery & Publisher

For artists: Fugue Press provides the highest quality product and support of a traditional gallery model without the high cost and low profit sharing. Exhibits are constantly resurfaced, extending the lifecycle of each piece.

For collectors: Fugue Press provides more than aesthetics, as each piece is a personal connection to the artist. Strategy

• Artists grow together by combining audiences through multi-artist exhibits.
• Exhibits evolve as new voices join the conversation. In other words, SEO stays current by continually adding new products to old collections.
• Keep inventory investment low with standardized print and frame stock.
• Content will be community and guide focused, starting with videos that blog posts can be built from.
• Support is uniquely responsive, customers must be rewarded for any purchase, and non-customers should be guided toward discovery.

Division Road, Inc. Director of E-Commerce

Accomplishments

• I was promoted to Director after flawlessly transferring inventory, online operations, and content production from Seattle, WA to Virginia while maintaining luxury standards of service and delivery.
• I designed and documented the transformation of an equestrian barn and garage into a customer-facing commercial photography studio and warehouse, with custom-tailored warehouse storage shelves for backstock and a fulfillment/customer service workshop at the new facilities.
• I designed and deployed all IT systems including a multi-building network, guest network, VOIP phones, NAS, Shopify fulfillment station, and POS.

Division Road, Inc. E-Commerce Manager

I oversaw all aspects of the online store's front and back end operations including: inventory management and fulfillment, content creation and syndication, back-of-house supply management and ordering, user experience, and customer service. I facilitated business strategy and marketing through creative production, physical and digital expansion, and web development.

Accomplishments

• I led a large webstore project to bring email newsletters to a permanent home on the website's blog, drastically improving SEO while funneling all email marketing efforts directly to the website. I initiated a massive overhaul of the back-of-house supply management and custom order tracking system for personal requests from high-touch clients.
• I built efficient systems and enhanced workflows for the team in Airtable, for supply organization and customer service ticketing within Shopify.
• I designed and implemented a system for printing custom hang tags, saving hours of time every week from handwriting.

Division Road, Inc. Content Creator

I improved upon photography standards, workflows, and styling. I moved our social media posting into an automated scheduler, freeing up crucial time on release days, greatly improved the quality and consistency of the store's imagery while reducing image size significantly to improve user load times.

Accomplishments

• I created standards and guides for consistent image assets. I designed and pushed social media strategies for more modern content and efficient workflows.
• I refined shipping and supply management and was supplemental to online customer service and other physical brick-and-mortar duties.

Zulily Product Video & Photography

I worked as a studio photographer delivering product imagery and video of apparel, jewelry, home goods, electronics, and a wide assortment of accessories.

Accomplishments

• I rebuilt the Kids' set and reduced production and editing time.
• I raised standards for On-Model sets, delivering higher quality images while reducing time spent editing.
• I completely rebuilt the video production set, raising the quality and improving productivity.

Independent Photographer Portrait & Music

Professional photographer who’s skill is properly balanced between a meticulous attention to detail and an creative appetite for the accidental. Commercial and portrait photography for small businesses and musicians.

• Minus the Bear, Holland Andrews, Nordra, Verellen Amplifiers, Westman’s Bagels, Lil’ Neon Taco, Tortas Condesa, and Queer Bar. Production and Photo Assistant to a variety of shoots in San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA. Clients included Mr. Porter via Photobomb Productions, Sony Music Nashville via A+ Productions, and many independent photographers.

Tour Management North America

In charge of all things business and travel related for professional touring musicians including finances, scheduling, driving, routing, lodging, and merchandise.

Highlights

• Working with Land of Talk in 2009 was my first break into tour management. I kept the schedule tight, finances organized, and the band happy as hell. I continued to work with their management company through the years with Suuns who were growing at the time.
• Working with The Thermals in 2016 was one of my favorite trips of all time. We sold out shows across the country, drove an hour out of town every night to save money on hotels and avoid car-jacking, and even escaped a live tornado in Colorado.

Live Audio Production Worldwide

These were arguably the best years of my life. Traveling the world, eating at the best restaurants and the worst gas stations, sleep deprived and hanging with some of the best people I know.
